The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host delegations from more than 34 Islamic countries to take part in the 17th meetings of the board of directors of the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC) and 13th SMIIC General Assembly meetings to be held in Makkah next November. These meetings come after the Kingdoms of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), won the chairmanship of the SMIIC Board of Directors for 2018 - 2020. The SASO affirmed that the results of the meetings reflect the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's position regionally and internationally.
