A joint team from the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) and Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum is continuing its preparations for the opening of "Roads of Arabia Expo" in Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, in the presence of Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, SCTH President on Wednesday, November 7th and continues until February 16, 2019. Since its launch in 2010, the Expo has been held in 14 different countries, in Europe and the United States. It was launched for the first time in Europe at the Louver Museum in Paris, France on February 13, 2010, followed by at la Caixa Foundation in Barcelona, Spain, then the Hermitage Museum in Petersburg, in Russia, and Pergamon Museum in Berlin, Germany. In the United States, the Expo was at first hosted by Sackler Museum, in Smithsonian Institution, Washington DC, followed by Carnegie Museum of Pittsburgh, then the Fine Art Museum in Huston, Texas, followed by the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, Missouri, and finally at Asian Arts Museum in San Francisco.
