Hijjah 04, 1431 / Nov. 10, 2010, SPA -- Crown Prince Felipe De Borbon of Spain will patronize the opening of the exhibition of "Saudi Archeological Masterpieces through the Ages" in Barcelona, Spain. The opening ceremony will be attended by Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA); and Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to Spain. The exhibition will be hosted by La Caixa Foundation and is scheduled to last until February 27, 2011. In this context, SCTA President Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz expressed appreciation to Crown Prince Felipe De Borbon of Spain for patronizing the opening ceremony of the exhibition, which will enhance the cultural relations between the two countries. SCTA President commended La Caixa's initiative for hosting the exhibition and bearing entire expenses of the event. He also stated that, inviting the exhibition by the Foundation immediately after its conclusion in the Louver Museum, Paris, reflects its keenness and attention on the importance of the exhibition as well as recognition of the historic and cultural standing of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. SCTA President described the shifting of the exhibition to a number of famous international museums in Europe and USA confirms the historic position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
