Exhibition of Saudi Archeological Masterpieces through the Ages organized by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) in State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg has attracted the Russian media. Russian television channels, newspapers and sites have highlighted the importance of the exhibition and the artifacts reflecting the civilizations of the Arabian Peninsula covering the old stone age until the era of the Saudi state through publishing reports, news and interviews. The Hermitage Museum's leg follows successful exhibitions at the Louvre Museum, Paris in France and La Caixa Foundation, Barcelona in Spain. The exhibition, which has the royal approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz to be hosted in a number of major European cities and the United States of America, reflects the historical and cultural importance of the Kingdom, according to SCTA website.
