Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Youm newspaper in its editorial on the Kingdom's roles in reconciliation among African countries wrote that the agreement signed in Jeddah in the presence of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and HRH Crown Prince between Ethiopia and Eritrea is a good opening for reaching similar peace agreements with several countries in the Horn of Africa to end their bitter differences. The paper added that the agreement signed under the auspices of the Kingdom ends a bloody conflict lasted for twenty years between two countries, noting that any similar agreement will break the isolation of the Horn of Africa from the world, achieve peace and security and strengthen the economy in the African continent. Okaz newspaper in an editorial entitled ''Together, we face the terror of Iran'' said that the Iranian terrorism in the region and blatant interference in the affairs of Arab and Islamic countries through its militias in Yemen, Syria or Iraq is the greatest threat to the region and the entire world, especially after Houthis aborting of peace efforts, Hezbollah's attempt to spread chaos in Lebanon through its provocative practices, and the Revolutionary Guard refuses to leave Syria and continues its plans to spread chaos in Iraq. The paper noted that this terrorism with its sectarian ideology is no less dangerous than the deviating thought of other terrorist organizations such as Al-Qaeda, Daesh and the Muslim Brotherhood, stressing that Iran's terrorism is one of the ugliest manifestations of terrorism which needs unification and cooperation to confront it and provide all kinds of support in cooperation with the international community to eradicate this scourge.
