Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh and Al-Yaum newspapers commented on the uprising in Iran, saying the Iranian people have broken many restrictions and sanctities imposed by a repressive regime for decades under the banner of blind obedience to Mullahs, noting that the popular movement has put an end to a long list of internal practices and foreign policies that have turned Iran into an economically and developmentally unstable country exporting crises abroad in multiple forms of supporting terrorism and setting fires, chaos and seditions in other countries. The papers pointed out that the peaceful movement of the people of Iran represents the finishing line of the worst patterns of governance in the Middle East for centuries, stressing that the Iranian people have demonstrated in streets calling for the termination of the terrorist regime which has wasted Iran's resources to provide them for terrorists in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
