President of Human Rights Commission (HRC) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Bandar bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, headed the Kingdom's delegation to the "Beijing Forum on Human Rights" being held in Beijing on September 18-19. Al-Aiban started his participation by meeting with Member of Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC)'s Central Committee Huang Kunming. During the meeting, the two sides discussed distinguished relationships between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the People's Republic of China and the strategic relations and cooperation between the two countries as well as ways of enhancing them, especially with regard to human rights issues at all levels. They also reviewed the Kingdom's great efforts under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to maintain global peace and help to fight poverty and help people in need around the world. For his part, Huang Kunming affirmed the rooted relationships between the Kingdom and China, pointing out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has huge resources. The Chinese official also praised the Kingdom's efforts to combat poverty and maintain international peace and security, stressing the importance of strengthening relations between the two countries.
