The President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein met at the headquarters of SPA in Riyadh today with the Director General of Bahrain News Agency (BNA) Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Manaee and the accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they discussed the cooperation relations between the two news agencies and ways of developing them. Following the meeting, Al-Manaee, escorted by Al-Hussein, made a get-acquainted tour of the departments and divisions of SPA and was briefed on the working mechanisms of the editing department, TV production, IT department and media center. Al-Manaee expressed happiness to have paid this visit to SPA and meet with its officials and personnel, lauding the effort being exerted by the Saudi Press Agency to provide news services at all levels, and make them available to contribute to achieve an Arab media work that copes with the international media developments at the audiovisual and written levels. To mark the occasion, SPA held a luncheon party in honor of the Director General of BNA and the accompanying delegation, attended by a number of editors-in-chief of local newspapers and SPA officials.
