King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE) is hosting the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on July 15 - 24, 2018 for carrying out Integrated Nuclear Infrastructure Review (INIR) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This review comes as an important reference on which the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is based in assessment of the efforts being exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in developing the infrastructure to use atomic energy for peaceful purposes in addition to ensuring that the national atomic energy project is harmonized with the requirements of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for getting the support of the Agency and the international community for the Saudi National Atomic Energy Project to promote the principle of transparency. The INIR is seen as a service being provided by the Agency to Member States to conduct an integrated and comprehensive assessment in the presence of international experts in nuclear energy programs and infrastructure development.
