The Islamic Solidarity Fund, an affiliate of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has approved financial aid amounted to $ 1,300,000 for several universities of OIC member states. The Secretary-General of the Organization, Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, said that this financial aid is part of unremitting support being provided by the Organization for universities in Member States, pointing out that these universities have contributed to the graduation of young men and women participating in the development of their countries. The financial aid included Islamic University of Niger, Islamic University of Uganda, University of Wisdom of Gambia, Islamic University of Kyrgyzstan, King Faisal University in N'Djamena, Chad and Charitable Organization for Islamic Cooperation in Benin.
