Newly-appointed Prime Minister of Pakistan Nasser Al-Malik received at his office here today the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki. At the outset of the meeting, the ambassador congratulated Al-Malik of his being appointed prime minister and conveyed to him the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in different fields. For his part, the Pakistani prime minister confirmed that his country attaches great importance to its relations with the Kingdom and that it is keen to enhance and develop these ties in all fields of mutual interest. He also briefed the ambassador on the plan of his interim government to hold a fair general elections next month prior to forming a new government in August.
