Pakistan's prime minister Shahid Khagan Abbasi received at his office in Islamabad today the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki. During the meeting, fraternal relations binding the two countries were discussed. Following the meeting, Abbasi said relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan are characterized by identical view points on regional and international issues, confirming the keenness of Pakistan's government and people on enhancing and developing these relations in all fields. He added that Pakistan appreciates with great respect and appreciation the pioneering role the Kingdom, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, is playing to support regional and international security and stability. For his part, the ambassador confirmed that the Kingdom attaches great interest to its ties with Pakistan and its people and that it is keen to enhance and develop these relations in all fields.
