Pakistan's Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif received at his office here today Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who is currently on an official visit to Pakistan. At the outset of the meeting, Sharif welcomed the minister who, for his part, conveyed the greetings of Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom, to Pakistan's Prime Minister. Sharif noted the firmness of the fraternal relations between the two sisterly countries, confirming that Pakistan attaches great attention to its relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and that his government is keen to enhance and develop these relations to new potentials of cooperation. He lauded the positive and important role of the Kingdom, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in enhancing the regional and international security and stability. During the meeting, the two sides also reviewed bilateral relations between the two sisterly countries and ways of enhancing them in all fields. Pakistan's minister of defense Khawaja Mohammed Asif and Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Ghadir attended the meeting.
