Jordan's Minister of Foreign Affairs in the caretaker government Ayman Safadi met here today with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini. During the meeting, they discussed the strategic partnership between Jordan and the European Union and reviewed the reforms and economic programs carried out by Jordan to overcome economic and financial challenges arising from regional crises. The meeting discussed the Palestinian cause and the need to reach a just and comprehensive peace between the Palestinians and the Israelis based on the two-state solution, leading to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
