Dr. Tamadur Al-Rammah of Saudi Arabia elected member of the UN committee on elimination of discrimination against women

The member parties of the Convention on Elimination of all kinds of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) have elected Dr. Tamadur bint Yousef Al-Rammah, the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Development and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's nominee, as member of the UN committee on elimination of discrimination against women.
The committee focuses on reviewing the reports submitted by the convention's member parties to verify their commitment to the provisions of the agreement.
