As head of the Council of the International Telecommunication Union's task team, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia highlighted the outcomes of the meetings of the task team in charge of international internet policies, held on the sidelines of the Council of the International Telecommunication Union currently being held in Geneva. The Deputy Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission for the Technology and Infrastructure Sector and Chairman of the task team Eng. Majid bin Mohammad Al-Mazyad clarified that the task team discussed in the recent meetings a number of important topics related to enhancing security, privacy and protection of personal information and data on the Internet as well as considering the enactment of international regulatory frameworks that maintain the users rights.
