Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper in its editorial entitled ''The Pivot of Arab solidarity'' wrote that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt are to strengthen bilateral and strategic relations and enhance their firm positions on crucial issues of bilateral and Arab concerns, noting that today, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense will pay a visit to Egypt, the first one since his accession to the post as HRH Crown Prince, where he will meet with President Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi and discuss a number of topics, particularly the agenda of the Arab summit to be hosted by Riyadh in mid-March, developments in Yemen, the crisis with Qatar, the peace process between Palestinians and Israel, enhancing means to combat terrorism, and further strengthening of security, economic and investment relations between the two countries. The paper noted that His Highness Crown Prince's visit to Cairo comes at a time when Arab solidarity is going on in an uneven line and the visit comes in the context of strengthening Arab-Arab relations and putting them on the right track for the interest of the Arab nation. Al-Youm newspaper attacked Al-Jazeera channel's distorted logic for claiming that enmity towards Iran means agreement with Israel or rejection of Hamas' follies means abandoning the Palestinian cause, stressing the Kingdom's firm position on the Palestinian issue and it can not bargain on it.
