Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Okaz and Al-Yaum newspapers focused on the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the Russian Federation on Thursday, saying that it comes as a continuation of the approach of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in building strategic partnerships with great powers in the world and to enhance and activate relations between the two countries, especially after the leap witnessed by these relations following the momentum generated by the visits of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to Moscow and his meetings with President Vladimir Putin. The papers noted that the visit comes within the framework of closer relations between the two countries in all fields during which they will discuss political and economic issues of interest and its outcomes will be reflected positively on the events in the Arab region including crises in Syria and Yemen.
