Saudi Grains Organization has completed procedures for tenders to import the second batch amounting to 960,000 tons of fodder barley during the period (April-May 2018) on board 16 ships through the Kingdom's ports on the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf. The Organization's Governor Engineer Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Faris pointed out that this is the second tender for the year 2018 and it comes as an extension of the Kingdom's plan to cover the local demand for fodder barley and preserve its strategic stocks, noting that the Organization completed procedures to import the first batch amounting to one million tons of fodder barley during the period (February-March 2018).
