Saudi Grains Organization announces tender for importing 1.5 million tons of barley

Saudi Grains Organization announced today its third tender for the year 2017 for importing 1.5 million tons of fodder barley during the period of July - August 2017 on board 25 ships through the Kingdom's ports on the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf.
The Organization explained that this tender is an extension of the Kingdom's plan to cover the local demand of fodder barley and preserve the strategic stock.
The Organization has already awarded this year the import of two batches of fodder barley with a total of 3.01 million tons.
