Saudi Grains Organization has completed procedures for tenders to import the first batch amounting to one million tons of fodder barley from origins of European Union, Australia, North and South America and Black Sea during the period (February-March 2018) on board 10 ships through the Kingdom's ports on the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf. The Organization's Governor Engineer Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Faris pointed out that this is the first tender for the year 2018 and it comes as an extension of the Kingdom's plan to cover the local demand for fodder barley and preserve its strategic stocks.
