Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Okaz and Al-Youm newspapers said in their editorials titled "Tour for promoting partnerships and alliances" that the visits to be paid by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to China, Japan and Maldives, which came as part of his East Asian tour included Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei are gaining great strategic importance in economic areas and alliances. The papers pointed out that the tour reflects the keenness of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on holding partnerships, strategic alliances and effective investment with Asian countries in political, military, economic and security fields, as well as in fighting against terrorism, eradicating it ideologically, enhancing the moderation of Islam and supporting the culture of coexistence, noting that the positive outcomes of the three stations of the royal tour in Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei have formed qualitative leaps in relations and enhanced alliances and economic partnerships.
