Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh and Al-Sharq newspapers commented on the visit currently being paid to Jordan by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, saying that the meeting between King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein gains special importance for continuing political dialogue between the two countries on the crises in the region, strengthening cooperation in the economic field as well as discussing developmental and technical files that establish a new era for future relations between the two sisterly Kingdoms, noting in this regard the signing of 14 agreements in various fields between the two countries yesterday. Al-Youm newspaper commented on the 28th Arab Summit to be held in Amman tomorrow, saying that the Summit represents a fundamental turning point to resolve outstanding Arab crises in a manner that preserves the unity of Arabs and their positions among the nations and peoples of the world, promotes the joint Arab action, supports Arab ranks, and realizes the aspirations of Arab peoples.
