Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Youm, Al-Riyadh, Al-Sharq and Okaz newspapers commented on 4th Summit of Arab and South American Countries, saying that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud outlined in his opening speech at the Summit the aspects of cooperation between the two Arab and South American blocs, noting that Arab and South American relations are ready for cooperation in various fields, especially in the economic sphere. The papers indicated that Riyadh Declaration issued yesterday after the conclusion of the Summit of Arab and South American countries focused on cooperation in the fields of politics and economy between the countries of the two blocs and stressed the rejection of any interference in Arab internal affairs by external powers violating the principles of good-neighborliness and the Charter of the United Nations. The papers pointed out that the summit's atmosphere was positive and its agreements reflected the very promising opportunities for positive cooperation between the two blocs, noting that the final statement of the summit embodied unprecedented consensus, qualitative agreement and a clear vision of the map of events regionally and globally.
