Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Youm and Al-Sharq newspapers commented on the tour of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to Asian countries, saying that according to the successes of his visits to a number of Muslim countries, alliance with the Muslim world to defend Islamic causes and interests, and gigantic achievements at the level of the joint Islamic action, the King deserves to be the leader of the Islamic world. The papers noted that the King has always been seeking for supporting the Islamic solidarity, strengthening the bonds of cooperation and integration with Islamic countries, and confirming the collective Islamic action to combat the phenomenon of terrorism which has nothing to do with the Islamic religion. The papers indicated that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is prepared for the resumption of his Asian tour to China and Japan after a short vacation to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries in the field of industries and technologies.
