Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh, Al-Sharq, Al-Youm and Okaz newspapers focused in their editorials on the tour of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to six Asian countries, saying that the tour has enhanced the Kingdom's position as the heart of the Islamic world and it always seeks for promoting Islamic solidarity so that the Islamic world occupies its real status to be among the forefront of nations, noting that during the King's visit to Malaysia, it was announced about establishment of King Salman Center for Global Peace. The papers noted that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques stressed during a meeting at his residence in Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur with Muftis of Malaysian states and a number of senior Islamic personalities that the challenges facing Arab and Muslim worlds require more cooperation and solidarity among Islamic countries and their peoples. The papers indicated that the Kingdom and Malaysia concluded a number of economic and trade partnerships during the King's visit to Malaysia.
