Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Sharq, Al-Riyadh and Al-Youm newspapers commented on the current tour of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz to six Asian countries, saying that the tour will enhance relations between the Kingdom and these countries in in various areas, particularly the economic ties. The papers noted that the tour includes Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Japan, China, Maldives and Jordan, indicating that during the King's visit to Malaysia, the two countries have signed four memorandums of understanding in the fields of trade, investment, human resources, information, science and education. The papers pointed out that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques enjoys a high status in all parts of the world as the Kingdom's leadership is supporter for global security and stability and an active partner in all matters beneficial to different peoples of the world.
