The Saudi cultural office, an affiliate of the embassy in Washington, hosted a US delegation including more than 100 persons representing a number of renowned U.S. universities as part of the 15th International Higher Education Conference, currently ongoing in Washington. Dr. Mohammed Al-Esa, the Cultural Attache in Washington, said that annual gathering is designed to explore best way to benefit from U.S. universities and solve whatever problems that might face some 65,000 Saudi students on scholarships in the U.S. He said the experiment of external scholarship program was discussed with the U.S. universities delegations to explore the importance of its achieving the objectives of the Kingdom vision 2030.
