The Saudi National Campaign to support brothers in Syria has launched a campaign for the distribution of relief and humanitarian aid in Akkar province north Lebanon under the patronage of Saudi Acting Chargé D'Affaires in Lebanon, Counselor Waleed Abdullah Bukhari with coordination and cooperation with an alliance of charitable societies in the town of Burj Al-Arab. Through its office in Lebanon, the Campaign has distributed 500 rations of relief aid included household utensils and table accessories within its multi-relief programs and projects. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Director of the Campaign's Office in Lebanon, Walid Al-Jalal affirmed that "Under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Campaign aspires to help the largest number of displaced Syrians living across all Lebanese regions." He further said, "The Campaign is keen to intensify its activities in the winter season to help the displaced families as much as possible to enable them withstand the harsh weather conditions." Al-Jalal added that in parallel with the distribution being taken place in Akkar province today, there is a team from the Campaign distributing assistance in Bekaa region to 500 Syrian families.
