The Saudi national campaign to support the brothers in Syria concluded today its current stage of the shelter project and the distribution of rent checks for the displaced Syrians in Lebanon for a period of three months in collaboration with a coalition of charitable societies in Lebanon as part of the final leg in Akkar province, north of Lebanon. In a statement made today to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Director of the Office of the campaign in Lebanon, Walid Al-Jalal said that the campaign has been distributing 146 checks to 146 Syrian families displaced in Akkar with a total value of 128,000 U.S. Dollars. On the other hand, the campaign began today the project of "Iftar Fasting People" and the gift of dates provided by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the displaced Syrians in Lebanon during the holy month of Ramadan, in the first leg of Akkar province.
