Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Okaz, Al-Sharq and Al-Youm newspapers commented on the visit of Lebanese President General Michel Aoun to the Kingdom, which is his first foreign trip since his inauguration as president, saying that the visit gains a paramount importance in the context of strengthening Saudi-Lebanese partnership and restoring relations to normality in addition to the keenness of the Kingdom and Lebanon to enhance security and stability in the region witnessing crises which require coordination and consultation to find just solutions to the issues of the region. The papers noted that the Kingdom was and is still supportive of Lebanon's security, sovereignty and stability, not interfering in its internal affairs and at the same distance from all Lebanese people. --More
