Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Youm newspaper commented in its editorial entitled "The importance of the Kingdom's political weight'', saying that the Kingdom enjoys a tremendous political weight in the region and leaders from Arab, Islamic and friendly countries have visited the Kingdom to consult with its leadership, be briefed on its views on crises and wars around the world, and exchange opinions on the best ways for finding solutions to them. Al-Riyadh newspaper commented on the visit of Lebanese President General Michel Aoun to the Kingdom, noting that it is the first one since his inauguration as a president and confirms the Kingdom's importance and its leadership, not only at the Arab and Islamic level, but also at the international arena, indicating that it reflects the Kingdom's status as a reference to all brothers throughout the Arab world. --More
