Nassib Lahoud, the Lebanese Minister of State has hailed the outcome of the recently concluded visit of the Lebanese President to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a press statement Tuesday evening, he described as "successful at all levels," the visit of Lebanese President General Michel Suleiman on Monday to Saudi Arabia. He praised the historical relations between the Kingdom and Lebanon and affirmed Saudi Arabia's constant and firm stand in support of the Lebanese people. He appreciated the positions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud in support of Lebanon in the darkest circumstances and the crises it went through, his keenness for the security, sovereignty, independence and stability of Lebanon. President Suleiman's visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia came in the context of strengthening and promoting relations between the two countries, the Minister said.
