Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Youm, Al-Jazirah, and Al-Sharq newspapers commented on Lebanon, saying that the Lebanese cabinet issued in its meeting on Monday a statement which has not addressed originally the problem that caused the crisis between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Lebanon which proves that Hezbollah controls the joints of the Lebanese decision, stressing that Hezbollah actually imposes Iranian sovereignty over large areas in Lebanon, as there are areas that can not be entered by Lebanese army, security forces, or any Lebanese official. The papers noted that the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques warned yesterday citizens against traveling to Lebanon and urged those citizens in Lebanon to depart quickly, indicating that Saudi citizens and diplomats have been exposed to several attempts of kidnapping or assassination, as it happened with Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Asiri in May 2015, when the Lebanese press reported that the Lebanese security foiled an assassination attempt against the Ambassador, which means that Hezbollah has managed to kidnap the country in his favor and in favor of the countries supporting his party.
