Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of topics and issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Youm newspaper said that the consultative summit of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States resulted in the approval of the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to promote joint works which is a clear indication to support and promote cooperation among the six Gulf states members in all areas and fields of cooperation, noting that the accelerating pace of works within the GCC system will achieve many objectives contained in the Statute of the Gulf Cooperation Council to promote the joint action in economic and developmental fields. Al-Sharq newspaper said that the adoption of the Council of Economic Affairs and Development of the governance framework yesterday is considered an important step in the project of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, indicating that what was approved yesterday represents an application of the global best practices in the implementation of strategies and promotion of the principles of transparency and accountability. --More
