Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of topics and issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Jazirah, Al-Youm and Al-Riyadh newspapers said that Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense pointed out that the GCC countries can form the sixth largest economy in the world, and the opportunity is favorable for them if they work properly in the coming years, and they agree to set up a bloc for this purpose. The papers noted that this came in the Prince's speech during chairing the first meeting of economic affairs and development commission of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States, quoting the Prince as calling for this economic bloc of the GCC countries, considering this age as the era of blocs and mentioning the benefits of this bloc. --More
