Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of topics and issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Sharq, Okaz, and Al-Youm newspapers commented on the visit of Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense to the United States of America, describing it as historic and successful by all standards, noting that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and the National Transform Program 2020 have attracted the attention of the US government, businessmen, and giant companies after being briefed on their strategic details by the Deputy Crown Prince. The papers stressed that the visit has proven the strong relations between the two countries and the depth of bilateral understanding between the leaderships of the two countries to address many regional and international issues, as well as pushing Saudi-US cooperation towards wider horizons for the establishment of a new era of relations to achieve their further common interests. The newspapers indicated that the meeting between the Deputy Crown Prince and President Obama was distinguished and successful, and included various topics topped by energy and the extent of the Kingdom's keenness on the stability of energy prices in the world and finding other elements of the alternative energy, in addition to addressing the regional issues in Lebanon, Libya, Yemen, Iraq, and Syria. --More
