Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Assir Region and Chairman of King Khalid Prize Commission, announced today the laureates of King Khalid prize 2016 which is divided into three categories: development partners, excellence of non-profit organizations and responsible competitiveness. Development partners prize went to the doctors communication initiative, composed by three authors: Dr. Sami Al-Salami, Dr. Khalid Al-Rajhi and Dr. Ahmed Al-Fares, the initiative of "my life is sugar, which was designed by Jawaher Al-Hayder, a female youth, is interested in helping diabetics to get illuminated on the disease in a better and easy way, while the last initiative which was authored by Faisal Al-Yousef and Amin Al-Risaini ranked third. It aims at forming a pool for Saudis on scholarships abroad to collect their initiatives, innovations and excellence in medicine and other fields. An amount of SR250,000 goes for the first, SR150,000 for the second rank and SR100,000 for the third place. --More
