The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is scheduled to patronize tomorrow the honoring ceremony for King Khalid 5th Prize laureates, annually awarded to individuals and non-profit organizations and private sector facilities pioneers in social development initiatives and practices. To mark the occasion, Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Assir Region, who is also Chairman of the prize's board of directors, extended thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for honoring the event in recognition of late King Khalid's charitable deeds. King Khalid prize is distributed to three domains: excellence for non-profit organizations, development partners and the responsible competitiveness. This year's excellence for non-profit organizations went to Al-Ehsa-based Al-Birr (charity) association, followed by Binaa charitable association for the Care of Orphans and Majed bin Abdulaziz Association for Development and Social Services. The Development partners was awarded to three initiatives: Mawakeb Al-Ajer, Wasata for Disabled Recruitment and Noon scientific group. The responsible competitiveness prize was shared by Bin Zagr, Saudi Investment bank, Safco, Middle East Company for Paper Products and Shahd Al-Morooj Special Direction company.
