Under the chairmanship of the President of the Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Shura Council demanded, during its fifty-eighth regular session here today, the Saudi Press Agency to develop its performance indicators to measure extent of keeping pace with local, regional and global events and application of modern technologies, to carry out its tasks. On the other hand, the Assistant Chairman of the Shura Council Dr. Yahiya bin Abdullah Al-Samaan, pointed out, in a press statement following the session, that the Council, in the aftermath of hearing the report of the Committee on Culture, Information, Tourism and Antiquities, based on Notes members and their views on the annual report on the Saudi Press Agency for the fiscal year 1435/1436 AH, which was read by the Chairman of the Committee Dr. Ahmed Al-Zayla'i, the council called on the agency to develop a modern administrative system to provide specialized training for its employees, that would ensure gaining of skills and upgrading of performance. development of a modern system of management practices specialized training for employees in the agency to ensure the acquisition of skills and the development of performance.
