Presided over by its Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Shiekh, the Shura Council held its 39th ordinary session in Riyadh yesterday. During the debate, the members discussed a report presented by the Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA) for the fiscal year 1435 - 1436 H. Briefing reporters on the outcome of the session, Assistant Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Yahya bin Abdullah Al-Samaan said the members raised several points regarding the performance of the national carrier, particularly finding solutions to delayers and those who missed their scheduled flights as well as ways to link minor towns with each other. Another report discussed and hailed by the Shura members was on national statistics.
