Ambassadors of 18-member countries in charge of Peace in Yemen met with Houthis and Saleh delegation in Kuwait today. During the meeting, which was attended by UN envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Chieck Ahmed, the latest developments of the peace consultations in Kuwait, particularly the proposal presented by the UN envoy to the Yemeni warring parties to reach a political solution to the Yemeni crisis through a road map based on a joint background reached over the last few weeks, were discussed. Yemeni government delegation has endorsed the draft arrangement submitted by the UN envoy to Yemen before leaving Kuwait yesterday, vowing that they would return to Kuwait provided that the Houthis and Saleh delegation sign the draft arrangement as well before August 7th.
