The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has won five medals and a special award, through its participation in ITEX, 27th International Invention and Innovation Exhibition 2016, which was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on May 12-14, 2016. The Kingdom participated with a scientific team consisting of ten students (six male students and four female students), who presented six innovations in a number of areas, represented by the Ministry of Education and King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (MAWHIBA) which seeks to support and discover the talented and creators, to continuously achieve the scientific accomplishments for the Kingdom . On this occasion, MAWHIBA foundation has extended its congratulations for this achievement, which confirms the vision of the wise leadership to continue to invest in Saudi citizens to contribute to advancing our national economy, enhancing the "status of our dear country among the nations of the developed world and the ranks of knowledge-based societies, and contributing to achieving the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 to shift to a diversified economy and investment. ITEX is held annually for 27 years.
