King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity ''Mawhiba'' has supported the registration of 40 proposals at Department of Industrial Property at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, for obtaining invention patents within its "Project for Supporting Registration of Patents," launched on the sidelines of 1st Saudi Innovation Exhibition 2008, organized by Mawhiba with the participation of Saudi Aramco. Mawhiba Secretary General Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Sabti pointed out that these ambitious national projects come within the framework of talent and creativity strategy approved by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, who is also President of Mawhiba. He indicated that the project has been launched by declaration of supporting the registration of 20 inventions and later increased to 60 patents.
