Sudan's foreign minister Ibrahim Ghandour met here today with Peterson Lyman, leader of a delegation of the US Peace Institute, an affiliate of the State Department, who is currently on a visit to Sudan. During the meeting, cooperation relations between the two countries in addition to peace process in the Sudan, negotiations with armed rebels, and situations in Darfur, Libya and Central Africa were discussed. In a press release, Ali Al-Sadeq, official spokesman of the foreign ministry said Ghandour requested U.S. help to mount pressure on the other party to join the peace process in the country.
