Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. All papers including Al-Youm, Al-Riyadh, Al-Jazirah, Okaz, Al-Sharq and Al-Madinah newspapers focused on the annual royal speech delivered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the Shura Council, highlighting the vision of the leadership and the contents of the speech aimed at boosting the nation's glory and citizen's prosperity, noting that the accelerating development process came to achieve the government's objectives in various channels, such as health, education, transport, economy and other sectors. The papers said that the King's speech focused on two important issues, firstly, the attention to the human wealth as it represents according to the wise leadership the nation's most expensive and precious resources, and secondly, the Kingdom's continued support for all just causes at Arab, Islamic or international arenas. The papers pointed out that the speech reflected clearly, transparently and accurately the features of the Kingdom's interior and exterior policy taking into account the most important developments and challenges, and drawing the mechanisms that the government will take to achieve the welfare of citizens, the safety and security of the homeland, and the ongoing development.
