Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh, Al-Youm, Al-Sharq, Okaz and Al-Jazirah newspapers commented on the 4th Arab and South American Summit currently being held in Riyadh, saying that the Kingdom yesterday confirmed through hosting the summit the need for agreement on crucial issues and the formation of a strong political and economic union benefitting from mutual exchanges of experiences between these countries. The papers pointed out that the prospects for bilateral cooperation between Arab and Latin blocs will result in joint investments in specific fields of agriculture and the expansion of sustainable development that will bear fruit in the medium and long terms. The papers noted that Gulf, Arab, Islamic and international summits held in Riyadh have taken reconciliation trends where the Kingdom's leadership sees that thorny issues should be solved by understanding and dialogue.
