The United States and its military partners conducted 28 airstrikes targeting ISIL militants in Iraq and Syria on Tuesday, the Combined Joint Task Force said. In Iraq, 17 airstrikes were concentrated around Sinjar, al Huwaijah, and Ramadi, and also hit near Kisik, Mosul, and Albu Hayat, destroying weapon systems and vehicles, the task force said in a statement Wednesday.
