The United States and its coalition partners conducted 15 airstrikes against ISIS targets in Iraq and seven in Syria on Monday, the Combined Joint Task Force said. The airstrikes in Iraq were concentrated around Sinjar, Ramadi, and Mosul, destroying weapons caches, buildings, two ISIS headquarters, and a tunnel system. Other targets were near Baiji, al Huwayja, Albu Hayat, Habbaniya, and Kisik, the taskforce said in a statement Tuesday. In Syria, the airstrikes destroyed fighting positions, three construction vehicles, and two cranes, the statement said.
