The U.S.-led coalition battling ISIS conducted 27 airstrikes Monday against the militant group in Iraq and Syria, the Combined Joint Task Force said Tuesday. The task force said in a statement that the Iraq airstrikes were conducted near Fallujah, Habbaniyah, Haditha, Makhmur, Mosul, Ramadi, Sinjar, and Tal Afar. Six of the strikes were near Fallujah and five were near the provincial capital Ramada. In Syria, the statement said, airstrikes were carried out near Al Hasakah, Aleppo, and Dayr Az Zawr.
